Feather, Fur & Fin
The wild company of Montana, in original paint.
Ravens have followed me through most of my painting life. They watch from the tops of pines, argue in pairs, and carry messages in nearly every culture that has lived alongside them. Grizzlies walk out of swirls of fire and river blue. Trout hold in cold, clear water. These paintings are about the animals that share this ground with us, and the rivers and ranges they call home.
I paint them the way they feel to me rather than the way a field guide would show them: in electric color, with movement in every stroke, and with enough stillness in the eyes that you feel watched back. Each piece starts with time outside. Then it gets painted big and bold in the studio in downtown Bozeman, where I've worked since 2002.
Every painting here is a one-of-a-kind original, painted by hand, signed, and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity. If a creature or a river here speaks to you and the piece you love has already found a home, I also take commissions.
