Original commissioned works in paint and bas-relief, created for your space and drawn from the Sacred Grove and the Montana landscape. Each piece is one of a kind, signed by the artist, and finished ready to hang.

Commissions are priced at $500 per square foot. The sizes below are a starting point — any dimension can be commissioned at the same rate.

Prices are for the finished, gallery-wrapped work. Custom dimensions welcome at $500 per square foot.

Framing

Every commission arrives finished, wired, and ready to hang. Choose the presentation that suits the space:

Gallery-wrapped  —  deep, hand-finished edges; contemporary and clean. Included

Signature walnut floater frame  —  hand-finished Romney walnut — the frame the Sacred Grove series is known for. Added by size:

Up to 16" × 20"  ·  add $250

18" × 24" to 24" × 36"  ·  add $350

30" × 40" to 36" × 48"  ·  add $550

48" × 60" and larger  ·  add $800

Custom & specialty framing  —  gold leaf and museum finishes. Quoted on request

Intricate bas-relief and multi-panel works are quoted individually; the per-square-foot rate is the starting point.

Made for You

A commissioned work is the most personal art there is. It begins not on the wall but in conversation — about your home and its light, the landscape you love, and the tree-letter or meaning you want the piece to carry. From there it becomes something that exists nowhere else and belongs to no one but you.

Because the work is made for you, your response to it matters above all. You are consulted and shown the work as it grows, and no commission is considered complete until it is right in your eyes. That approval is the heart of the process — what turns a painting into a piece that holds your story and keeps its place in your home for a lifetime.

The Commission Process

1. Conversation  —  we discuss your space, subject, palette, and the tree-letter or meaning you'd like the work to carry.

2. Reservation  —  50% at booking reserves your commission and begins the work.

3. Creation  —  typically four to ten weeks depending on size and medium. You'll see the work as it grows and be asked for your approval at each stage.

4. Delivery  —  the final 50% is due on completion, after which your piece is delivered or installed.

Commission Terms

Payment  —  50% at booking, 50% upon completion (due before delivery).

Sealing & hanging  —  professional sealing and all hanging hardware are included; every piece arrives finished, wired, and ready to hang.

Revisions  —  two rounds of revisions are included so the work arrives exactly right. Additional changes are billed at $150 per hour.

Timeline & rush  —  most commissions take four to ten weeks; expedited timelines are available for a rush fee, quoted by project.

Delivery & shipping  —  delivery and installation are included in the Bozeman area and Gallatin County, and available statewide by arrangement. Shipping outside Montana is quoted separately, with crating and freight at cost.

Copyright  —  the client receives the original artwork; the artist retains copyright and the right to photograph and reproduce the work for portfolio, print, and promotional use.

Certificate of authenticity  —  each commission is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by the artist.

Cancellation & originals  —  once booked, the 50% deposit is non-refundable; if a commission is cancelled after work has begun, the deposit is forfeited. Completed originals are non-refundable, as each is a one-of-a-kind work created solely for you.
