Ailm — Sacred Grove series
A cold morning throws a ring of light around the sun, and the pines hold still beneath it. This small painting catches that instant — the sun dog blooming gold and blue across a winter sky, its cross of light falling through the treeline. A raven rides the upper edge of the halo, dark against all that brightness, going somewhere only it knows.
Stamped into the work is Ailm, the Ogham letter for pine — the tree that stays green through the hardest part of the year, that marks the high ground and keeps watch. It's here as a quiet signature of the grove, a mark of what endures.
